We do have what to be proud with: Promo-Med’s products are distinguished by a precise positioning, excellent marketing support and timeliness of launch.
According to Pharmexpert (retail audit of pharmaceutical market) in 2006 – just within 10 months of Neosmectine’s launch, the drug has conquered 3,4% of the market share of its major competitor – Smecta (manufactured by Beafour Ipsen Internationale, France). In addition, our product was confronting a brand that had a 30 years long history and a powerful support.
Meridia’s patent expired on the 18th of December 2006. And on the 19th of December 2006 Reduxine, a generic, showed up at retailers in Moscow.
On the 4th of December 2007 in Crystal there was a distribution of annual Formulation Of The Year awards for pharmaceutical marketing excellence. Leonid Yarmolnik, who was the host of the show, handed the trophies to 10 winners out of 19 nominees. One of the prizes in the Design Of The Year nomination was awarded to Reduxine (manufactured by Promo-Med, concept by Max Media Advertising, package design and fabrication by Agava Design). |
According to the latest research made by Pharmexpert, trademark Reduxine made a breakthrough, having been moved from 14th in 2008 to 6th place in 2009 in terms of volume sales in cash equivalent. |
